Bal Harbor Beach: A Tranquil Stretch Along North Miami's Atlantic Coast

A welcome reprieve from the energy of South Beach, Bal Harbour Beach is where to go to relax and enjoy soaking in the Florida sun. Spanning one mile along the Atlantic coast, Bal Harbor Beach is open to the public for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. Stroll down the seawall jetty that extends into the ocean, ideal for fishing or admiring the view. Take advantage of the beautifully landscaped Beach Walk path that runs parallel to the water and extends the length of Bal Harbour and into the southern tip of Surfside. Jog, bike, or walk along the wooden trail to admire the powdery white sand and the aquamarine ocean at the shore.



No admission. Parking is by the meter or in paid lots.

  • Where is the Bal Harbour Beach access located ?

    The Bal Harbour beach access path is located on 102nd St. and Collins Avenue in North Miami. Spanning 25 feet wide, this paved walkway is lined with wooden benches and shaded areas for residents to enjoy a leisurely walk to and from the beach. Visitors may use the stainless-steel body and foot showers along the path for quick escapes back into town. The Beach Walk path stretches all through Bal Harbour and into Surfside.
  • Is there a free shuttle to Bal Harbour Beach ?

    Bal Harbour offers a free shuttle Service throughout the East and West islands, as well as making stops in Surfside, Aventura, and North Miami.  The shuttle runs Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, and 9 am to 9 pm on weekends.
