Great find in Bay Harbor

Just amazing! The Landon it's in a great location that is easily accessible for different parts of Miami, was a perfect place to come back to to rest after moving around throughout the day. Loved the hotel and loved the area! The staff at the hotel were nothing short of super sweet and helpful! They were full of information about things to do, places to eat, etc. which made our stay extra special. A special mention to the general manager she was absolutely fantastic and we were very impressed with all service. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and my guest! I will DEFINITELY book this hotel, I'm sure we'll return again

Small Hotel with Big Personality

First off, the hotel is apparently changing management though I experienced no major issues. Checking in was a breeze - Luis at the front desk was very helpful, full of advice, and suggested a couple of good restaurants within walking distance. The room I had was comfortable with a nice sized bathroom. A little cozy, and missing some of the items specified on the list of amenities for the resort fee: No coffee maker (but k-cups), no mini-fridge, no in room safe - I addressed this at the front desk the next day and they were very accommodating and apologetic. Shayla at the desk was very gracious and friendly. Mentore helped me book my last evening so I could stay an additional night before my flight - all in all, the majority of the desk staff and the housekeepers were fantastic. Amanda (the new manager) was also mentioned by other guests as being on top of things and very friendly. If you are a big breakfast person, you will want to go out or have delivery - the food offerings were very simple and light. Good quality bagels though! The hotel has a high end restaurant immediately next door, with most patrons pulling up in some really high end cars. This was a little bothersome as they used the hotel drive to queue up the valet parking. Locally, it is a quick ten minute walk to the beach - it would have been faster except for crossing Harding and Collins Ave. The beach is pretty quiet and has a really nice path running parallel to it - its an easy walk up to the Haulover Inlet with a nice breakwater to walk out on. The hotel loans beach towels at the front desk which is super helpful for travelers. The neighborhood itself is pretty nice too - lots of locals out walking their dogs or to their jobs. Bay Harbor Island has its own Public Safety set-up about a block from the hotel which was assuring. My most favorite amenity was the Guest Social Hour, daily from 5:00-6:00pm where they offer a glass of wine for sitting inside or outside on their patio - a really nice way to wind down and meet people if you want to. This is a hotel I would definitely stay at again for the price/service, location to this part of town, and overall comfort! Cheers
