Celebrate at the 22nd Annual International Mango Festival to be held at the Fairchild Botanic Garden on July 12 & 13. Check out the world's largest display of mango trees cultivated by Fairchild's local farmers, and enjoy tastings, food demonstrations, and kid's activities. During the festival, the mango will be celebrated as an object of beauty, crop of subsistence and a mainstream commercial fruit.
Mango enthusiasts will gather at Fairchild for the Grower's Summit 2014, which will give recommendations directions on growing different varieties of the mango in the North America. The festivities will include culinary ideas, mango brunch, International Fruit Market, lectures, mango auction, the world\'s largest display of mangos and a wide range of products for purchase, such as mango merchandise and botanical art.
The Veranda Restaurant will be open throughout the weekend from 9:30am to 4:30pm serving snacks, lunch, and mango smoothies to the tunes of island music.
